From the President
Your Traffic Club of Chicago has undergone dramatic changes in 2026.
To serve you better we have:
- Formed a new management team
- Launched a new website and member relationship management system
- Hosted a Class I railroad CEO as keynote for the Annual Dinner – the first in over 20 years!
- Sponsored a dozen networking events for transportation industry professionals and their customers
The membership has responded by changing as well and new members join every month.
- Beneficial cargo owners are now members of the board of directors
- The club has formed alliances with professional traffic organizations in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Montreal.
- Scholarship fundraising has resulted in $30,000 in grants to students studying logistics and transportation management
The Traffic Club of Chicago has thrived since 1907, overcoming wars, pandemics, financial depressions, and recessions while serving as the keystone industry association for the largest inland transportation hub in North America – Chicago.
Change has been a part of our club, our culture, our DNA for 119 years.
