                    Gearoid Coughlan, Kerry

                    Mitch Morrin, Owens Corning

                    Bryan Meyers, WW Grainger

This panel brings together marketplace experts from within the supply chain. The panel will explore the challenges and opportunities faced by shippers in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape. We will gain insights into their strategies for enhancing their customers’ experience. Our moderator will guide the discussion and pose questions that delve into topics such as delivering on promises, their customers’ experience, integrating customer/supplier relations and the utilization of emerging technologies. By assembling this panel, we hope to foster knowledge, share and inspire innovative approaches to enhance the customer experience (CX).

Leaders in Logistics Panel

Moderator:  Brian Bowers, The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business

Panelists:    Mike Burton, MEDLOG USA

Laura Peacock, Phoenix International Freight Services, Inc.

                    Jared Weisfeld, RXO, Inc.

                    Todd Thompson, MODE Transportation

This panel will offer insight from the corner office so we can better understand “the needs of the leader” but then discover how logistics professionals might live a more fulfilled life in business. “Success” in business is mostly measured in profit. “Value” is usually delivered through a process. “Achievement” is all about delivering on promises culminating in life-long relationships. Leaders cast the vision and engage followers. We see how that works in business.

Maritime Industry Panel

Moderator:  Michael Westergren, TRAC Intermodal

Panelists:    Rado Saragih, The Port Authority of NY & NJ

                    Rosetta Iancono, Port of Montreal

Marcel van Dijk, The Port of Los Angeles

This panel will engage in an interactive dialogue, exploring the intricate and multifaceted issues facing the ocean shipping industry, and the complex issues surrounding U. S. ports. The moderator will guide the conversation, ensuring a balanced exchange of ideas and encouraging panelists to delve deeper into critical topics. This segment is designed to not only provide insights but also to stimulate thought-provoking conversations that address both current challenges and future possibilities.

Domestic Shipping Panel

Moderator:  Bill Cassidy, Journal of Commerce

Domestic U.S. shipping is a cornerstone of the national economy, providing essential services across various transportation modes including truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and expedited ground transportation. These segments face ongoing challenges such as capacity constraints, evolving customer demands, technological advancements, and environmental pressures.

Careers in Supply Chain Panel

Moderator:  Michael Hewitt, Loyola University Chicago

Steve Blinn, VP of TCC, Norfolk Southern (retired)
